Divemaster Course
Divemaster Course
The first professional level of the SSI system. Learn to lead certified divers, assist instructors and manage dive operations.
- 40 logged dives
- Diver Stress and Rescue certification
- First Aid, CPR and Oxygen Provider certification valid within 2 years
Divemaster Course
- Lead certified divers on guided dives
- Assist SSI Instructors during training
- Conduct Scuba Skills Updates and Try Scuba sessions
- Build foundational dive leadership and risk management
Instructor Training Course
Instructor Training Course
Prepare to certify new divers as an SSI Open Water Instructor through comprehensive teaching theory, watermanship and evaluation.
- 100 logged dives (IE)
- Certified as a Divemaster
- Enriched Air Nitrox certification
- Minimum 6 months since Open Water certification
Instructor Training Course
- Teach and certify Open Water Divers
- Master classroom, confined-water and open-water presentation skills
- Understand SSI standards, risk management and the business of diving
- Prepare for the SSI Instructor Examination
